In one good paragraph, describe a situation that turned out differently from what you expected--for example, a marriage or other relationship, a job, college plans, a move, etc. First talk about what you thought would happen; then talk about what actually happened.
Example: I've been happily married for some time now, but when I was first introduced to the man who is now my husband, it never occurred to me that we would end up husband and wife. In fact, when I first met Joe, I thought he was the most arrogant man I had ever met. Here's what happened...
When I first come to US, everything was looking beautiful and interesting. I thought I can do anything and I would finish Ph.D degree soon. I could get high wage job. But the real was totally different, learning English was one of serious problem. My laziness was second problem. My budget condition was going to the bottom. In the ordinary day, I went the Seven Eleven. I saw the lottery advertisement. I had never been interested in a lottery in my life. However, that day was totally different. I had feeling I was going to win the lucky. I decided I would buy it. I bought 5 games with bonus. That was the all that I have money. I was hungry. I had to wait to two days more. I was looking like a homeless. I was living like a homeless with forgetting the lucky numbers. After one month, I found a small piece of wrinkled paper with hopeful numbers. I searched winning number with my I phone 5. I was surprised the numbers of the screen were same as numbers of the paper. I didn’t feel anything. I didn’t know how to express my feel. I felt I have to be happy with this. I checked again. I found some strange point. The numbers were exact same. However, date was problem. It was not lucky. I just lost my last of money. I was crying in the bottom of Seven Eleven. I said to me I will study hard, and I decided that I would never go to a lottery store.
