Grammar #14.1: Noun clauses (due Wednesday, 6/26)

A friend of yours wants to "set you up" with another friend on a blind date.

"Set you up" means [that] they want to introduce you to someone of the opposite sex.
A "blind date" is when you go on a date with someone without having seen them before that night.

Write down three things you want to find out about that person using noun clauses.

For example:
1. I'd like to find out what color his eyes are.
2. Could you let me know if he's ever been married before?
3. I wonder what his hobbies are.

      To "stun" means to shock. I was "stunned" by the news, means I was "shocked" by the news. When we say that a woman is "stunning," it means you are almost in shock by how beautiful she is. We can also describe a performance as "stunning," like a musical performance or an acting performance.

      Ameed, if you tell a woman that she looks stunning, you mean that she's absolutely beautiful. It's an amazing complement, so use it carefully ;)
